Driver Application

Thank you for your interest in driving with DAR-US. Review the requirements and gather your documents before you begin — having everything ready keeps the process quick and prevents delays.

Requirements

Driver’s license: Valid U.S. license, held for at least 2 years.
Age: At least 21 years old (required for interstate driving), with legal authorization to work in the United States.
License class: CDL required for tractor-trailer. No CDL required for box truck.

Documents to have ready

License photos: Clear photos of the front and back.
Medical card: Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT).
Personal info: Social Security number and date of birth.
Address history: Every address from the past 3 years, with move-in and move-out dates.
Work history: The past 10 years— or your full history if it’s shorter: employer, address, phone, dates, and reason for leaving.
Driving experience: Equipment types you’ve operated, with approximate miles.
Safety record: Accidents and traffic violations, if any.
